How this one was built
Public-domain items measuring the 24 character strengths, four questions each, two worded each way so that a habit of agreeing cannot push one strength up the list past another. Your result is your own 24 put in order rather than scored against other people, which is why no reference sample is needed to read it honestly. The published reliability figures come from German and British samples; nobody has run these scales on an American one.
